Margaret Hopkins is an author and artist based in Melbourne Australia.
She grew up in a family with strong Christian beliefs on an isolated farm in the Western District of Victoria. Her secondary school teachers encouraged her to apply for a secondary studentship so that she could have free university education.
She went on to become a Biology, Maths and Science teacher in Victoria and then New Zealand, Canada, London and Malaysia.
After 14 years as a teacher she changed careers, firstly as an Education Officer and then as a Policy Developer and Report Writer in Canberra.
She then walked away from her career and searched for something more.
Learning to Live Authentically is Margaret’s second book and tells the deeper story of what she discovered in her search.
